Travel Tales

Our Pocketspace find of the century was Craig Thompson's Blankets. It's one of the most moving books we've read and we've gone on to read his other books with great zeal. My current favourite is Carnet de Voyage. It gives the reader such an amazing visual impression of Thompson's experience when traveling through Europe and Morocco. Keeping it company is another Pocketspace fave, Ion (and pet) from the Ace and Ion toy set by Tara McPherson.

Carnet de Voyage is also one of my favorite Pocket Space purchases. The observations and artwork are consistently good despite the hurdles of illness and travel. How does Craig Thompson do it?

Strangely enough I like the brush pens saga.
